Welcome to MHA of Augusta

May Is Mental Health Month!
Mental Health Ameriica-Augusta (MHAA)
is part of the nation's oldest and largest community-based network
dedicated to helping all Americans live mentally healthier lives.
MHA-A's vision is simple: To be a catalyst for good mental health
and appropriate teatement of those who
suffer from a mental illness
in our community. We do this by Advocating for
changes in policy through collaboration with local and state elected
and appointive officials, and with other advocacy groups; by
Educating the public and providing critical information
about mental health and mental illness; and by delivering urgently
needed Programs and Services, including crisis
information.
An important part of our mission is to help you live your life well.
If you are under some stress during these difficult financial times, if you
are depressed or find you have thoughts you can't understand, if you are
facing some life changes - or simply some hurdles you are not sure you can
get over - maybe we can help.
